This program is part of BeActivated Solutions, building on BeActivated, a muscle activation technique developed by the southafrican physioterapist Douglas Heel.
The philosophy of the technique is based on the knowledge that repeated physical or mental stress loads can change the body's primary and ideal recruitment- and movement patterns.

There are primary, secondary and other zones of the body:
Basically, you often see that primary muscles that are designed for breathing and moving gets "switched off" as a response to stress loads or injuries.
The body is great at keeping it going by compensating, and quickly finds other patterns so that you continue to move and breathe. But these patterns can be the cause of reduced strength, stiffness, pain conditions and overuse injuries, or headaches, to name a few.

This understanding leads us to a sequenced pattern for rebuilding function in different zones of the body. The purpose of this technique is to map the compensation patterns, and reactivate the muscles, for you to feel robust and strong, and move well.

These simple techniques can take minutes to do. You can therefore make them yourself and thus continue the treatment yourself.
BeActivated is an approach that is beneficial in injury management. It can be used to enhance performance in sports, and in the treatment of stress as a "therapeutic window" to break patterns of chronic pain and lack of energy physically and mentally.
